The listing, 10K White Gold Filled Purple CZ stone Ring has ended.
10K white gold filled ring.. size 8 ********************************************** Gold-filled jewelry, also known as "rolled gold" or "rolled gold plate" is composed of a solid layer of gold bonded with heat and pressure to a base metal such as brass. Some high quality gold-filled pieces have the same appearance as 14 karat (58%) gold. In the USA the quality of gold filled is defined by the Federal Trade Commission. If the gold layer is 10 kt fineness the minimum layer of karat gold in an item stamped GF must equal at least 1/10 the weight of the total item. If the gold layer is 12 kt or higher the minimum layer of karat gold in an item stamped GF must equal at least 1/20 the weight of the total item. The most common stamps found on gold-filled jewelry are 1/20 12kt GF and 1/20 14kt GF. Also common is 1/10 10kt.
Questions & Comments
i just had someone message me and told me this ring is fake and will turn my finger green is this true
I have sold alot of these rings.. I have as yet to have someone come to me and say that these rings turned their finger green... I am assuming that it was the person who I blocked for negative comments... what everyone is refering to is plated not filled. there is a difference between the two.. plated is the one that usually turns someone's finger green. that being said it is possible but not usual for a filled ring to do that.. but its not the normal.. hope this answers your question... I blocked the other person who does not have very good feedback for one... who instead of asking a question stated that this ring would turn the finger green without apparently the knowledge to back it up. As far as fake it is gold filled... never has it been stated that it is genuine white gold or that the stone is anything other than a CZ... so what is meant by fake? Again beware of people who just want to cause issues.. look at my feedback compared to the person who messaged you and make your own decision :)
