Description
The listing, ANCIENT COIN 1600+ YEARS OLD 330 AD ...CONSTANTINE AE3 has ended.
Up for bid is a coin from the Constantinian dynasty. The reverse of the coin is one that stopped not long before Constantine died in 337 (they changed it to one standard between the soldiers rather than 2), so it's from sometime in the 330s AD.
This Constantinian coin is a denomination whose name has not survived, but since its diameter is between 17-21 mm, modern collectors would call it an "AE3". Thank you for your interest and remember to look at my other auctions :)
Watching this one as well!!!!! If I dont win the other one...which omg I better lol, I will do my darnest to win this one! Are you POSSITIVE its that freakin old? lol. cause thats insane!:)
was this part of the collection from your grandfather or did this one come from somewhere else. Also curious what it was kept in while in your possession and what it was in when you received it. I usually take my coins out of their holder to get the best pictures too so that is why I'm assuming it was in something. Also wondering how you are going to ship it. Sorry bouts all the questions my friend but I'm curious and plan on bidding. Thanks
received it in a 2X2 removed for pic and then immediately returned to a 2X2 not that it really matters with a coin this old ....they are pretty well "petrified" by this time lol ....
