The listing, Lovely Pendant, has ended.

My great-uncle made this for my mother when she was in college. I believe it is a tigers eye stone, or perhaps a highly polished wood? My great-uncle had his own small jewelry and gemstone shop beside his house so I am assuming the pendant is handmade/crafted and that the setting is gold, although I can not guarantee this. Would be nice for a choker or shorter necklace.

Thank you. I have several pieces from my mother's collection that I just don't wear and thought it would be better to give to someone that would use it.

Looks like Tigereye to me. I have collected rocks, minerals, & fossils for 30+ years and apprenticed briefly to a master goldsmith in Florida.

Thanks, I thought it was, but didn't want to say it was for sure. He traveled all over the US getting stones and pieces while on his vacations, I loved going into his shop and looking at the geodes and raw/rough stones he would bring back.
