From what I can see in the pics, you plug 1 end into a cigarette adapter on a car with a good battery & plug the other end (the plug that reads dead battery) into the cig adapter of the car with bad batery,start the car with good battery, turn the switch on charger to 'charge', let it sit awhile then turn the switch to 'test', then start the car with bad battery then unplug the battery charger.
you can copy these directions or look on the back of the charger to find the company that makes these & google it for directions.
