This is the Super Game Boy for the Super Nintendo. This allows you to play Gameboy and some Gameboy Color games on your television through your SNES. You can also do some neat stuff with the games you play on it. I've put a couple of these up in the past and they tend to go quickly, so be sure to get it while you can!

Yes, it plays spot on, of course whatever Game Boy game you put in it would also have to be in working order, but this works just fine. :)

It sure does. Not only does it play them, but the Pokemon games are what you call "super game boy games," meaning they have special borders and stuff when you play it in this. :)
