I honestly must say that these earrings are FABULOUS !!

They are made by the TARA 5th Ave.Company, originally from NYC. In 1965, they also opened an operation in California, specifically, Garden Grove, & manufactured out of BOTH facilities for a time. The Hollywood glamour industry was in full swing & Starlets wanted their pretties as well as the established old school, Silver Spoon Ladies ;0)

Their Jewelry was also, for a time, distributed by Sales Reps & at Home Parties, similar to Avon, Emmons & Sarah Cov, to name a few.
Tara used high quality materials & utilized talented Designers to establish a well respected & very collectible Jewelry Line.

Delizza T& Elster (Juliana) made a line of high end pieces for
Tara, as well !!

This particular, Opalescent & Pearlized pattern is referred to as Wedgewood Stardust , They made a Cameo Pendant Necklace to accompany the earrings. I certainly wish I had that to offer as well ;0)
The closures are Gold tone, clip on style & marked TARA on both earrings. They work as intended. Measurements are 1.25" all around.
