Bound book approximately 8 x 5 inches with 121 pages of German immigrant recipes. Solid bound, but has some staining and handwriting from previous owner. I can't find a date, but it is old. Illustrations are from The Atlas Map of Adams County, Illinois 1872. It was a "Project of Community Rediscovery '76" so I am guessing from the '76 that it's about 38 yrs old.All sorts of ethnic recipes including one on how to make lye soap.
