this is for all of you that missed out on the first pink murex auction..this is the medium sized pink found off the southern atlantic coast and sometimes on the gulf coast.this is a more interesting pink because the color is visibly present on its outer spiny shell,all listia rules apply..

I love this. We are going to Florida in a couple weeks and I know I won't find one like this. We use to go every year and I've never found a really big one.

have you ever gone to SANIBEL or CAPTIVA ISLANDS?if you haven't you should try to get there,they are on the gulf side and both islands are famous for the shells you can collect right off the beach.i don't know about the murexes,i know shell shops down there sell them but they are very pricey.thanks for watching.
