If I were you I would just get rechargeable batteries. They last much longer than alkaline and you can recharge them over and over 1000 or more times. I have a bunch sitting around my house the AA and AAA batteries sitting around my house. The remote control to my TV in my bedroom need AAA batteries do I use rechargeable AAA's. in the mouse and keyboard connected to my media PC connected to my TV in my living room both rechargeable AA and AAA are being used. What I'm getting it is you should just get rechargeable batteries they will save you more money in the long run and alkaline well.

Just go to this linkhttp://www.radioreference.com on the map click on your state thing click on your county if your county is available on this website it'll give every station available for your county on your state. For example I live in Syracuse so I clicked on New York State in New York State I clicked on onadaga County it'll give me any radio station that the county puts on this website that I can logon to on my police scanner.
