I am looking for an music player for work but don't know much if anything about them. I would like to put music on it and listen to it. Is this what I am looking for?
I have one of these. It's easy to load with songs, but I will caution you to VERY CAREFULLY READ the charging instructions. The problem is that if disconnected improperly, it will lock out the charging circuit and you will not be able to recharge it without opening it up, removing the battery, charging it with an external power supply, then putting it back together. Not a difficult job if you are technically inclined and have the tools and a 3 volt power supply. Of course, this procedure is completely avoidable as long as the charging instructions are followed and you don't let the battery completely discharge. I enjoy mine on a regular basis and I would bid on this if I had enough credits. My battery lasts 8+ hours and the 2GB SD card i installed holds plenty of music.
OH, by the way..The SD card detection in mine has a 2GB limit so larger cards will not work. Depending on the exact version and firmware of this one, that might not be the case. Still 2GB is plenty and the sound is great with a decent pair of headphones. It fits decently in a shirt pocket.
