I am offering for auction to make a brand new head scarf like the one pictured above. These are traditionally called babushkas (spelling varies). They can be tied at the nape of the neck as in pictures 2 and 3 or under the chin as in picture 5 (which is the most common way to wear them). Picture 4 is an illustration of size. (Yes, here in horse country, we measure with our hands... LOL.)

I came up with this pattern myself after learning the lemonade stitch with a little help from my friends.

At close of auction, you will let me know if you want one made from cotton (lighter for warm weather) or acrylic (for cooler weather, as pictured above). I would like to know your color preference, but all colors may not be available. We can work together on this. Piece does not have to be made from just one color. (Note: Cotton is a bit harder to come by and color selection may be extremely limited for it.)

Every piece I make is One Of A Kind. I always change up something in the way the yarns are used or in how the tie ends are stitched. You will never see two alike. (I don't think I could make exact duplicates even if I tried.)

I can have this finished in the seven days allowed for shipping per Listia rules. All Listia rules apply and I will ONLY ship to Listia verified address. (We all know this already, right?)
