This Wild Violets’ blossoms like tiny cheerful faces look up from glossy green foliage. Each 1/2 inch flower is a miniature masterpiece of lavender, deep purple, yellow, and white, Johnny-Jump-Ups look like tiny pansies but is more heat tolerant and easier to grow. A good choice for containers, along the edges of flowerbeds or in between bulbs.
These are so lovely and delicate and are edible for consumption too! Use as a garnish plain or you can also dip the flowers in beaten egg whites then sprinkle with sugar to make candied violas :)
