Up for auction is this fantastic silver ring size 9, stamped 925. The lovely oval cut blue quartz is amazing. Eight baguette cut white quartz flank the main stone. Quartz is one of the birthstones of April.

These stones are laboratory created, but their properties, chemical, optical and physical, are identical to that of naturally occurring stones. Man made gems are much hardier than their naturally occurring cousins, not so subject to temperature change, drying out, cracking or grazing.
