C'mon people, do the research. You plug this into any computer or laptop that does not have a wireless card. It plugs into any USB port on your computer or laptop and can connect to an internet source that is wifi. All this does is makes a wired computer into a wireless one, but you have to have access to an open internet source. There's no fee, and no contract.

This connects to the cable modem so that if you do not have a wireless router you can send wifi signals to the device that requires that kind of signal, but you have to already have internet. There is no monthly fee.
