Description

The listing, INDIA : Children's Day 2010 has ended.

A beautiful MINIATURE SHEET [ Collectors' ITEM ] issued in 2010 on Children's Day as J.L. Nehru's birthday, 14 November, has been celebrated ever since [i was born] i can remember...

The stamps, issued on Children's Day - almost every year since 1957 - are a THEME all by themselves and this is, perhaps, "unique" in the world of Philately.

Comments from ardent Philatelist friends are invited; can any of you remember / point our any
such "Continuous Record of Philatelic issue" for 52/53 [ (???)out of 56] years and very likely to continue ?

Wanna share my MOST ARDENT DESIRE ?
At least ONE STAMP from every country on an envelope genuinely addressed to me.
A packet of ALL 220+ countries - that i can buy any day...but that would take the fun
out of PHILATELY !!
Are there any Listians willing to help me in my quest ?
