My old “volumizing” mascara made my eyes red and itchy. Apparently allergic reactions are common with mascara users. These reactions are usually attributed to methylparaben, aluminum powder, ceteareth-20, butylparaben, or benzyl alcohol that are often found in mascaras.
So.... I decided to make my own 100% All Natural mascara. It's very cheap and easy to make and all the ingredients can be found in a health food store. Unlike store bought mascaras, even the ones that claim to be "natural", there are only four ingredients used to make my all natural mascara. Say goodbye to itchy red eyes from your mascara!
