From the top tip of the purse (silver part) it measures about 10.5" across.
The bottom part of the purse from the one green edge to the other measures about 12.5".
The length of the purse from the middle starting at the top of the metal to the bottom measures over 6.5" closer to 7".
The width of the bottom of the purse is about 3".
The width of the side of the purse when opened is about 5".

Thanks for the great measurements! Normally I ask that question and people say "I don't know, it's medium sized" and it drives me insane, because they completely avoided the question. I need a decent size bag/satchel for my makeup, and this would be perfect. Thanks for listing!

You're welcome! Lol. I understand your definition of medium may not be the same as my definition of medium. I wasn't sure if this would be considered a medium purse or a large one but I've seen way bigger so it just fell into the medium category. So measurements definitely would help other people see if it was the right purse for them or not.

The handle is short. It's more of a shoulder bag that you can tuck right under your arm.
