Thank you so much for the ringing endorsement! I hadn't seen these on here before. Apparently they're pretty popular, but the only reason people are seeing them is because Listia decided to feature this auction. I'm definitely thankful, and am fanning you = )

I'm sorry, but Listia doesn't work this way. In order to win an item you have to accumulate however many points you think you will need. It's mostly guess work, however. By listing items over time and successfully selling them, you will notice your credits increasing. It is very likely you have a lot of things around the house that you never use or no longer want that other people will. You can also ask family members if they have small gifts or items they don't want and explain why you're asking. Good luck!

No worries! Everyone makes mistakes. Most people would not care enough to respond, which you did both publicly as well as privately to the message I sent you. It takes something called integrity to do this, and integrity is very rare in this world. Thank you, and again, please forgive me as I could have been much more kind in my reply to you.

Hi...I have been watching your auction and sitting back reading the daily contributes of comments. I have also listed some higher quality items myself and also dealt with those who want it for cheap, not enough credits, poor, even begging, ( and yet I'm disabled ) and I am so impressed with the class and dignity that you have afforded these comments. You take such great thought into what you say to everybody both the good and the bad, and you are a true testament to what this site is all about. I just thought you'd like to know how nice and polite you present yourself to everybody, a real gem, and for that reason, I am fanning you. Continuing to watch!

Wow! I do not have the words to express how deeply what you wrote has touched me. That you took the time to write write this says a lot about who you are. Thank you so much for this; your timing honestly could not have been more perfect, and I could not be more thankful. While there is definitely some craziness on Listia (I mean where is a place there isn't = ) I believe many find it to be a saving grace in large part because of people like you. I will be fanning you as well.

This is a deck of 999.9 Gold Plated Foil Playing cards; however, I have literally been scouring the internet for the past hour to find a better answer to what I believe it is you really want to know, and I think I found it : )

Deck of Poker Playing Cards in 999.9 Gold Foil Plating with Certificate of Authenticity and Mahogany Box:

"This special gold foil is processed by slicing, rolling, trimming, rubbing, folding, sticking, stacking, kneading, wiping, ripping and cutting and twisting". I copied and pasted that word for word, thus the quotation marks. At this point the gold foil becomes a semi-Three D material, which is the 3D gold art you see on the Ben Franklin portion of the cards. Both sides are gold foil and made of a durable plastic in inner layer.

I also found a YouTube Video that shows the durability of these cards, which I found very helpful. Now I want to keep them!!! This is the link:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eF34-zFvjWk

I hope this helped and answered your question.

The next time you feel the need to comment negatively on someone's auction, refrain from doing so. Should you wish to avoid looking stupid in the future, you may want to actually read what was written, and by whom versus skimming over it, as your comment was incredibly ill conceived. Fortunately for you I hid the comment and no one but you and I know how truly stupid it was that you failed to take the time to read more carefully before commenting in an ignorant and negative manner. I would say, "Welcome to my Block Party as the inaugural member", however I believe in affording others the opportunity to rectify their mistakes. The rest is up to you.

Wow, thank you! I really appreciate you sharing this on FB! Truly, if Listia decides to feature one of your auctions so many more people see it. It makes a huge difference and I've seen the difference because know exactly when this was featured. Too bad that you never know if they'll decide to feature one of your auctions or not. I do know you can submit a support requesting this because I saw when submitting a ticket for something else....

The information you want to know is written in the long reply to a question above.. Also I referenced a YouTube video because I was surprised at how well they are made. Read the reply as it will be exactly what you want to know, and if you're interested you should definitely YouTube ".999 Gold Plated cards" and click on the video with the most hits, which will probably be the first one that comes up. Given that the deck remains factory sealed I am unable to give you a first hand account. Thanks.

Thanks! Yes, they are factory sealed inside the Mahony box. I think they're pretty cool too. I wanted to list them because I thought people may not have seen cards like these before and some might really like them. After watching the YouTube video they're even better than I thought they would be.

Wow! I don't what to say, which is exceedingly rare ; ) You are very gracious and kind to write this. I am so very thankful for people like you who make Listia a refuge from the real world for many of us. I can not tell you how refreshing it is to read a comment like this period, and most especially after literally just having the F bomb dropped on you in 2 replies. I kid you not. I'm laughing (not trying to be mean) because someone, who was unable successfully manipulate me, threw a little temper tantrum via Listia messaging as a result. When someone figures out how to use the F word on Listia in 2 separate messages that is a person who is not accustomed to having their manipulative behavior exposed, amongst a few other things.I mean what else can you do but laugh??? This is just an example of what you, as well others, are taking the time to point out; and I, for one, am very thankful!!! The end ;-D
