Size: 1 1/4 inch length X 14/16 inch width, each arm of pearl is 7/16 width, Abalone is 3/4 inch length X 1/2 inch width each arm being 1/8 inch width. Very light lacy feel and perfect for a ribbon or slip on the pin of a brooch as a dangle below, use as a GOOD BOOK Mark.
I ONLY USE PAYPAL for shipping fee. We are both protected, and items always arrive in good shape.

Whys the shipping so much couldn't you just put it on a envelope

YES, it could be put in an envelope, but if I didn't add the needed protection, how could my customer wear the pieces? I would not receive the credits for damaged goods, I did not get shipped safely. It would be irresponsible to do so. Some may take that attitude, I do not.

The shipping entails protection. It is a delicate shell carving. An envelope would let it get to you for $0.49, but in five pieces. It is a quality crafts persons work, it is art, it deserves protection and care. I am really good at weighting items and checking the shipping rates before I list items. I will end up eating a portion of the shipping on most objects sent. I always have the actual shipping fees print out on the label from USPS. Any mail item that is more than 1/4 inch thick must be handled as a parcel, hand stamped and routed as it can't be run through the machines, or heat sanitized in this case also. These are not my choices, they are the regulations we all are bound by, the US Government and the Postal Service.
