This auction is for two vintage Barbie dolls, from the late 80's-early 90's?
The first one is 1988 Style Magic barbie. She originally had "wondra-curl" hair. She has her original swimsuit, earrings, and "scrunchies". Her skirt can become a scrunchie hair tie for your hair, and around her the top of her swimsuit is a smaller scrunchie for Barbie's hair. I put pink pumps on her to replace the original hot pink ones.
The second doll I haven't been able to identify. I believe she is late 1980's early 1990's by the "superstar" smile, big hair, and outfit. Her earrings are nearly identical to Style Magic Barbie. She is wearing her original layered outfit. She is wearing a bright orange and pink t-shirt over a green athletic "bra" Over that is a black and green polka dot vest, with music notes and records. She wears a hot pink and orange ruffled skirt over spandex shorts. She was missing her original shoes, so I put some pink athletic shoes on her.
Both dolls are in overall good condition. Style Magic Barbie's has thinned some and will no longer curl (I tried!) There is no damage to her body. The other Barbie is in very good condition, and still had the original rubber bands in her hair. (They were falling out due to their age, so I replaced them.) I think she may have been stored in the sunlight, as there are some faded spots on her outfit. The elastic is a little loose on her shorts, but isn't noticeable with the skirt.
