Description

The listing, SEEDS Chinese Elm Tree variety "True Green" - 50+ SEEDS! Ulmus Parvifolia has ended.

LIMITED TIME SPECIAL OFFER!! I am in a push for credits, so I'll set up special separate auctions for anyone who asks, 2,222 for GIN!! I only have enough for 7 more auctions, until next year. The last time I posted these, they went like hot cakes, so don't hesitate! ;-) WHILE SUPPLY LASTS!!

Winner will receive 50+ seeds collected from my beautiful Chinese Elms. I don't have any pics of my trees right handy, so I am using stock photos instead, but they look exactly like these spring, summer, and fall. These trees are very hardy, somewhat fast growing, and will grow between 25 and 50 feet, depending on pruning and environment. GREAT shade trees, with a natural slightly weeping umbrella canopy. They give a LOT of nice shade without as much leaf mess as other trees, like mulberry, etc. Plus they get tall enough (roof height) but don't get so tall that it costs big $ to prune! These are very prolific seeds, so you may end up with 99% germination. That's a lot of trees! :) You can create Bonsai with these as well, they are a variety commonly started for beginners.

On a side note to jeannehinton56 - I love all the crochet work you have for auction, and as your profile pic! Do you do all that yourself? Pretty talented!

"True Green" is the variety name for these Chinese Elm trees. Just as there are different varieties of roses for example. Here's a link with more details on this specific type of Chinese Elm. http://es.bewaterwise.com/Gardensoft/plant_description.aspx?PlantID=3328
