Brand new kindle fire HD 7" 8gb new with box. I'm selling this because it was my husbands and he doesn't use it. He believes if you have a smart phone you don't need a tablet. His loss your gain! I believe you connect the HDMI port through the charger part and the bigger part goes in the tv. They have the HDMI cables specifically for kindles also.(I found one on eBay for mines) I'm about to post my charger port in 2 minutes.

unfortunately, they have to be two completely different ports for connecting to the TV...thats what i was hoping for, to watch my Amazon Prime stuff on the big screen. awesome auction, though! best luck with your surgery!! i might be posting an Xbox 360 listing in the near future, btw

The description says it new in box but on one of your comments, you said you "use it daily to watch Netflix", to paraphrase.

That would not make it new in box.

Unless you mean, you have one of your own that you use and the one that is listed, is truly, new in box.

The newer kindle fires don't have the two ports. Only the older versions have them.

They said what!!?? Yes you can get on facebook, download music and movies to it, play games on it as well as read books. Silk is the internet browser so you you can search the web. In my opinion it's just like a tablet. I watch my Netflix and hulu on it daily.
