Welcome to my very first sponsored auction! Ok, Ladies and Gentleman, this is a Jewelry in Candles auction, retail value is $50.00. You can choose 2 Candles, 21 oz and 100-150 hours burning time each-OR- 3 Tarts, 5.5 ounce and 60 hrs burning time each. Each item comes with one piece of jewelry inside! You can choose from women's rings (pick your size), earrings, or necklace. Don't forget Father's Day though! Choose from men's rings and money clips in our Gentleman's Candle, or either in the new American Pride! The Jewelry will be valued from $10-$7500!!!!

Our products are 100% soy, so better for the environment and your lungs! There are many scents to choose from. Do you love desserts without all those pesky calories? LOL! Questions & Comments

When I go to the doctor, I do the respectful thing and turn my phone off. If I am at work, I have a job to do and texting or being online unless work related is not part of my job. That is why so many people can't accomplish what they should for their employers. It surprises me how rude and disrespectful people are today. It seems to be a world of self centered individuals everywhere. Yes it is your bills that need to be paid and important to respond to questions, requests etc, when you have a business, but many businesses close for lunch and customers must wait for and hour or two.Yes it takes a minute or two to respond to texts or messages but when you taking care of your child I think people would be more understanding if it took a few hours. I guess that is why many children are growing up so disrespectful and rude because they are learning from adults that it is ok to throw tantrums and get nasty attitudes if they don't get what they want immediately. Pretty sad actually to read some of these comments which I assume are from grown adults. We have been running our own business for years and have learned that you will never please everyone so you may lose a customer here and there if you don't cater to them because some are just looking for anything to complain about. In the long run, you gain more than you lose and the ones you lose are a better to lose than try to please at times. Good luck in your business dear.

Wow--I do not think I would ever want to do a sponsored giveaway. I think it is unrealistic to expect someone at the doctor with their kid to stop and answer questions even for a minute or two. It is rude to the doctor and nurses (and one's little one) to not give them your full attention. Personally, I think a response in the same day is more than sufficient. I have to disconnect from social media for "real life", because it does have a way of taking over. Making money is important, but having children know they are 1st and foremost is a bigger accomplishment. I did not find the response back-handed at all.....just how it is while being respectful of everyone else's time and feelings. Anyways-my 2 cents and patience is not a virtue of mine either ;) Happy Bidding to all the bidders!

I am so very glad that you decided to become a sponsor of a great product. Their lag time has been horrible in the past. Sometimes, we just have to let the past be just that THE PAST. I think you were absolutely right in not answering while at the dr office. To me there is nothing more rude than having to wait because someone else is holding a conversation and doesn't want to take the time to move it. we have let our instant access take away from the beauty of life. Im a rep for JIC Jewelry In candles also. Yes, they did have a hard time shipping during the holidays, it was completely unexpected as they did not forsee such a growth spurt so quickly and it hit them right at the holidays. They have apologized and are much better now. So, it would be a shame for customers to hold this against them. I love the candles, and my first pair of earrings were sterling.....and i love that that are soy....Much healthier than the alternatives out there...Google it sometime, what makes soy a healthier candle.......SO if you have tried them in the past, i would recommend giving them another shot, its a great company & product.....And if you have not tried them....Do so....The scent can fill the room, its a very long burning candle, the glass container is wonderful, i used my empty one's for vases....I love them....And Okaika, glad you didn't pick up your phone :) You are on your way to becoming a wonderful rep for the company....Good luck to you in your business.

That is one thing I checked into before becoming a rep. I am a very patient person but I wanted to be sure that my customers could expect things on time too. They are running about 5-7 days now on orders. I know they were expecting some new jewelry in so one order got pushed to 10 days but that's been the longest! Thank you for asking! I was a single parent at one time, life is hard especially when working and keeping care of the children. I was never, and still not a parent who lives on the computer to respond to everyone...heck I don't even read my emails everyday...if it was really important then it's done asap, taking your child to Dr. was one of those things that needed to be done asap...NOTHING should come between you and your family, even if it's a 2 minute response. don't let people get under your skin there are more patient and understanding people on Listia then nasty people like that woman..NEVER feel bad and NEVER say sorry about giving backhanded remarks, she deserved it. I've known you for about 2 yrs now. When you're at the Drs with your son you don't worry about a auction. Your son is your priority not a new business. Second NEVER apologize for being at the Drs. Yes say you were there but you do not owe them a apology. You're a awesome mom ! You like many people don't live on listia. I love you to death so im throwing my two cents out.
As for the candle I had mine within 5 days. I bought the hydrangea and wow it smells amazing.

Did anyone ever consider that she might have been talking to the Dr. about her child right at that time that you messaged her? I am a nurse, and I promise if she would have gotten on her cell phone the Dr. would have walked right out the door because he/she would have thought that rude if she was on her cellphone while speaking to the Dr.. Our children always come first. Rude people come last!!!

My mom just got one of these candles for her Birthdays and she loved the surprise she found in it. For the record, in my book family comes first and there doesn't need to be any excuses.
