Each necklace features a lovely agate gemstone donut pendant. This is a natural stone that varies in color. They come in an assortment of natural shades of green, brown, marble, black, white, blue auburn, and red. Many of the gemstones will have a marble mix of several different beautiful shades. It's a natural agate stone, so there aren't any chemicals and it is safe if the baby puts the necklace in its mouth while you're wearing it. But no, it isn't for teething. The necklace is for the baby to have something to look at and do with its hands while you're nursing, or holding it. Rather than pulling your hair. It's a nursing necklace, not a teether.
