The listing, ANTIQUE POSTCARD (c) 1914 ~ CARD TO WW1 SOLDIER has ended.

This is a card that a young lady sent to her dearest in the trenches of WW1 battlefield. It says "I'm sending my dearest love to you, The love of a heart that is always true, And all the tenderest thoughts of mine, To my sweetheart in the fighting line. It shows her sitting at her writing desk. The upper corner is a picture of her dearest in the trench at war.

Printed in London by W&K Co., series #3383. Measures 5-1/2" x 3-1/2"

I'll tried my best. The writing on back of the card is faded and sloppy, hard to read. I can only figure some of it. I see a partial date of August. The name John. 'think of you' 'not forgot you'. It's too hard to read.
