how would one pierce a nose with this? just wondering since there's a ball on it.. aren't the nose hoops flat on one end?

I prefer to use these,it spins completely around for better cleaning care.For 30 years,if they didn't want a nose stud,this is what is used.Thank You for looking.

thanks for the tip! so do you actually use the ball? i like the idea of better cleaning. how long for a nose piercing to heal? and is there a certain way to do it? (straight in or down at an angle? do i need to get some cork so i don't nick myself inside? sorry for all the questions! i was gonna go get mine pierced but i'm a single mama and i figured i'd see about just doing it myself so i can save money. <3
