Well, that should have gotten someone's attention, but it is true. Up for bid is a, well, a green hand. Not your ordinary, everyday green hand...a very special green hand. It is an attrative hand made out of sanded glass and it has it's own pedestal. (A flat green hand just won't do!!!) Her mission in life...her ONLY mission in life, is to show off jewelry. The jewelry can be rings, or bracelets, or watches, or she can hold necklaces and pendants, and she is only limited by your imagination! The only reason she is up for bid is because I ordered a pair to use in my auctions. In my order was supposed to be a white hand and a green hand. However, when they arrived on Saturday, there were two green hands. Well, I guess my laziness kicked in and I decided that I didn't need but one hand and I really didn't care what color it is, and I didn't want to go through the hassle of returning it, so I am keeping one and letting someone else on Listia have the opportunity to get the other one. The hand was made so the arm could rest on the pedestal, but it can also be turned so that the hand is resting on the pedestal instead of the arm. Some things show off better that way and some show off better the other. You get to decide. I found that if you have a larger ring on her finger it is best to have the hand up. But as you can see in some of the pictures, if the ring is an average size it stays on the finger just fine the other way around. I chose these hands because 1.) they are prettier than most that are available and 2.) they are versatile.

And so I will ask the question....do YOU need a green hand? Who wouldn't love to have a helping hand around the house?

Some lucky Listiite (ok, gimme a break...it sounds better than it looks) will have the opportunity to have their own green hand and become a part of a very elite class (the name to be thought up at a later time)
