I am not completely sure, I go to Cherokee North Carolina alot and was told by the chief there that i have cherokee in me. So far in doing geneology I have only found one little instance A great great relative with an Indiian name Tecumseh

Thank you Cherokee, The reason I asked, is that I'm Cherokee. My farther was Italian, my Mother Irish, and Cherokee. My good friends were Wilma Mankiller, she was Chief of a Cherokee Tribe, who as you may know, passed away about 2 years ago or so, and Chief Thundercloud ( James Hawkins ) of Sussex NJ, as also a Doctor, who has probably passed away by now. Chief Wilma, and Chief Thundercloud, gave me the name Jay Hawke, many years ago when I was very young, and excepted me as family however, I use my adopted name, Thank you so much, for writing me back.
