I listed this in sporting ,one it was the closes description, and also will make a good knife for hunting also. this was a extra knife my son brought home from the military. this knife has a hook blade, which can be used to cut away seat belts, i am not sure what it is called, but it also has a point on the end ,that is , or can be used to break out car windows. the blade on this knife is extremely sharp, and comes with a warning on the box saying so. as you can see in the pictures, that the price of this knife is $39.99. you can buy 28,000 credits at that price

i am not an expert on knives, but i think the answer is yes, it does kinda spring half way open when you pull on the blade, then with a flip of your wrist it snaps open and locks in place. hope that helps, and thank you for looking
