Is this a genuine silver 5 Reichsmark coin underneath the gold plating? I have a few of the original pieces, also a smaller 2 Reichsmark of the same design (all dated 1936-39). Beautiful coins, all of them!

Good afternoon this is a newer commemorative with the 1938 design on it. It measures 40 x 3 mm and weighs in at 1 ounce. It is for collectible purposes only :) I do like the original ones a lot too!
