The listing, Vintage Arnex Pocket Watch with Cowboys and Horseshoes has ended.

This is an Arnex Quartz Pocket Watch 1970's era. I believe Arnex is a Swiss made watch. It measures approx. 2 inches across. Gold Tone in Color. It has Cowboys on horses on the on the Cover Lid and Horseshoes on the inside face of the watch as per the photo's. It has a very Ornate Engraved Back Cover and edging around the watch cover and the top handle. Good condition with normal age wear. It is a Quartz pocket watch and will need a new battery as it has ran down. I did not try one in it. I purchased a large lot of watches and clocks from a Jewelry Store that was going out of business and this watch came from that store. I cannot guarantee older watches so you buy as is. No returns. It needs a battery and I did not try a new one in it. I bought a big lot of watches and clocks from a Jewelry Store that was closing and this was one of the watches. I bought hundreds of watches and clocks and could not afford that many batteries so I started listing them as is. Like my ad states I cannot guarantee any of these older watches and clocks that I bought, but the ones I have sold so far on here just needed a new battery so you will have to make the decision on it. You can check some of the auctions where I have sold some and see that everyone said they were good so far. Hope that helps.

This looks like a really nice watch. Just wondering why a watch that came from a 'Jewelry Store that was going out of business' would have a pocket watch that was in 'good condition with normal age wear'?

He had some trade in watches from people that bought new watches off of him. That way they got the new watch cheaper. I just try to describe it the best that I can. If you feel the comment is not a good one then please do not bid. I am just trying to be fair and state that the watch was not brand new.
