Double blooming trumpet bush's are easy to grow and a great conversation flower. She has large flowers deep purple with white cloud like centers. Stems are purple as well and somewhat Bonsai looking. She doesn't have any pests to speak of, and is happy in most soils. I've forgotten the zones but will add that soon. Likes full Sun to part shade.

Yeah V , I got some seeds here that were lilac (trumpets ) on the tips . And the flowers were about 1 inch at full bloom and opened so late at night I missed the first two.
These are about 4-5" long and at least 3" round. And I'm being conservative!!

They also produce this purplish golfball looking thingy, that is the seed pod you'll see it in picture number three and that has probably 1000 seeds in it. each flower will give you that if you don't cut the flowers off!! Good luck to all! And happy bidding.
Oh and yes is you have warm winters or no snow it will come back.

101! Whew...I thought we were having it bad running near 90 everyday. My AC is already on overload :) But not complaining after that hard winter. So nice to see some of my blooms survived, plus I have all sorts of seeds germinating. I have the single purple Datura's so these will be a nice addition :)...if I win!!

Mine last year died back with. 19 days of ice. But it makes large chockablock full ---balls of seeds from each flower for the next springs plantings.
