I purchased some hummingbird feeder tubes because I am going to make some feeders out of wine bottles. I purchased several so I decided to share a couple on Listia. These are your standard hummingbird feeder tubes and fit nicely into a wine bottle. Make your own feeders or replace an old or lost tube. Choice is yours :)

Can you send instructions on how to build one with a wine bottle. I think this is a brilliant idea!!!

They are pretty simple. Just take a regular wine or champagne bottle and decorate it however you wish. You put the nectar in the bottle and then the feeder tube will fit into the mouth like a cork would. I use wire to wrap around the bottle to hang it. You can either hang straight up and down or at a slight slant. Whichever way will keep the nectar in the tube part. Just use your imagination when it comes to them. I will either decorate mine with bottle caps or some type of flat beads. I love to recycle/upcycle things and I tend to appreciate it more when I make it with my own ideas and style.
