Up for auction is a beautiful vintage Swiss made brooch watch produced by Grant. I don't have much background knowledge on the company, but I do know the company operated from the late 1700's (I think it opened in the 1770's) to 1975. That makes the watch piece (not the brooch) at least 39 years old possibly older because I don't know where on it would say what year it was made.

The brooch looks like it's not original to the watch element, could be but I'm not sure. It seems to be made of steal with cubic zirconia imbedded in the steal. The piece that holds the watch is the same material as the top part, but it has a glass front. And as you can see in the picture the backing is stainless steal.

Now the most IMPORTANT part, the watch element. It is battery-less, that means it runs on kinetic energy. So it shouldn't stop ticking. I think it does run a bit slow though, what I did was adjust the time when I'm going out so it as accurate as possible, I think at certain angles the watch has a harder time ticking but it still goes. One last thing, the watch is upside down because it's easier to read time when it's pinned to you, and let it be noted I don't have a box case for the watch.

This is a very unique time piece, sadly I don't have enough history on it, so if you know something about it please tell me I would love to know. This watch is something that you won't be finding anytime soon, it's pretty rare so please bid!!
