Quite possibly the most beautiful dress auctioned off here on Listia.com. I have never worn this. I fell in love with it online and it never fit. Because I loved it so much, I kept telling myself-someday...Anyway! I'm ready to let it go. It really is breathtaking! It is a designer dress made by Laurence Kazar-known for his beautiful beaded evening wear.NOT a true size 2x-The measurements are below, so BE SURE THIS FITS YOU! It is separated into two tiers. It is skillfully hand sewn with glass bugle beads and garment pearls of all sizes. The art work is magnificent-as you can see by the many, many photos. I wish I had a model or a manikin to show this off properly, but even so, it's obvious that the quality and workmanship of this cocktail length (on most) dress displays. I was planning on wearing it as the mother of the bride at my daughter's wedding, but I had to buy a dress that fit me instead. It is off-white with no tears or stains. There is a sexy kick split in the back with detailed bead-work around all of the edges-split, neckline,along the sleeves and along the waist and hem lines. The waist hem, sleeves and bottom hem are also beautifully scalloped. The Beads and pearls are sewed on top of a lace background which is lined with a same color lining . The sleeves without any lining are sheer. It has shoulder pads. I can't describe how pretty this dress is-but I'm trying. This is extremely well made! *from bottom of arm hole seam across to the other (in front)-33"
*From top of shoulder to bottom of V neckline-10"
* Around waist-64"

A friend of mine just stopped by and made an interesting observation. If anyone is handy with sewing, it wouldn't take much skill to turn this into a pretty skirt and top! I wish I had thought of that sooner. oh well, enjoy~ Ellen

OK now, I had to unbox the dress to take measurements of the sleeves and while I was at it, I had to try it on just one last time. Breathtaking! I so wish it would fit me! Actually, the sleeves fit me perfectly with some room to spare (my arm are rather "meaty" these days) but it's my poor tummy that makes it fit me like a stuffed sausage skin (description borrowed from the Steel Magnolias movie). Somebody's going to be very happy when they win this! The sleeves up near the arm hole is 20" around, tapering down to 14" just above the elbow and then ends at an elegantly scalloped edge at 10". Happy Bidding. PLEASE make this worth my sacrifice....

When you say that it's 33" from bottom of arm hole seam across to the other just across front, does that mean the bust is double that or 66" ? Also, can you give me the measurement of the sleeve width? Thanks so much, BEAUTIFUL dress!

Beautiful, is this from a pet free and smoke free home. I only ask due to number of smoke filled clothes I won. This is too beautiful.

I have a dog and cat but they don't smoke and neither do we. I haven't received any smokey clothes, but that would certainly bother me, too.They (my pets) aren't around they dress, but since it's been hanging up of so long, it will need to be freshened up. If I could afford it right now, I would offer free shipping, sorry. Since there are already bids on this, I can't edit this auction at all-I'm so sorry. It really is beautiful-my husband is perplexed that I'm letting go. especially since I could sell it for a pretty penny to a consignment shop-I really want the bids-I'm such a Listia addict~! And happy about that!

It has no discolor-no "smelliness". I have 1 dog and 1 cat-we don't smoke. It's been hanging up for 3 years, waiting for me to lose weight.until I just gave up. *sigh* so winner will want to get it "freshened".
