if it has both those stamps, it means it's vermeil, which in the US usually means sterling silver coated with at least 10K gold. :) not trying to make it seem anymore or less stunning, but I just learned what it meant to have both of those stamps, so I though I'd share. lol good luck with your auction! it is a very beautiful necklace
Honey, I am a Jewelry Artist and have been doing this for near 30 years. If an item is stamped 925 and 10k, it is NOT Vermeil, this is Sterling Silver and the Heart on it is 10k gold. Vermeil is an item (usually silver) that is plated in whole with gold. Now, if it was only layered in gold, it would have to be marked 925 and 1/5, 1/10 or 1/20 10k gold, depending on the volume of 10k used in relation to the total weight of the Item.
