The listing, Antique Hand Painted Wooden Box has ended.

This is a hand painted antique wooden box. It's a bit beat up [see pictures, it's really just the paint that's chipped. No damage to the wood.] but is still very sturdy and opens and closes perfectly.

It was my grandma's and I believe she would have wanted it to go to someone who will enjoy it as much as she did.

This is a beautiful box...I work with the elderly and I know my folks would love this box....F & W, If I bid & win would you be willing to write down a few facts about your Grandmother I & sent with the box that I could share with my folks int the nursing home. When I'm doing reminiscing therapy having the story to the piece I'm showing always seem to help trigger a memory. Those with mid to late stage Alzheimer's this seem to really help them connect with there past..The stories they share often bring laughter, and joy which help other to share and yes, sometimes we get a sad one or two and we cry. But for most part we have lots of fun strolling down memory lane.
