The listing, Toshiba Satellite 1415-S173 Laptop has ended.

For Auction Toshiba Satellite 1415-S173 (pulled this one out of a dark corner of the "spare parts" closet LOL)

Mobile Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU 1.80 GHz
512 MB RAM
30GB HDD
Internal WIFI not working but I'm including the Netgear wg111 v3 usb wireless adapter (pic 5 shows on-line on Listia.com)
CD-RW/DVD
The #2 key is missing but functions (replacements on ebay for about $3)
Lid/outside has some scratches
LCD has not dead pixels and no scratches
CHARGER WILL BE INCLUDED - Brand New - just bought it off of ebay.
Windows XP Professional 32-Bit Service Pack 3 (fresh install)
Battery charges and holds charge - no guarantees on life of battery - it is an older battery

Remember it's an older laptop with Windows XP - not the fastest horse in the race but is dependable. I would suggest upgrading the memory to help boost system performance.

Again, per the description, "Battery charges and holds charge - no guarantees on life of battery - it is an older battery"..... it works when off of the charger, but you will not get the same "battery life/use" as if this were a new battery. You can probably expect about 1hr+/- use on battery depending on how you are using the laptop.

Yes, unfortunately the older models do weigh quite a bit. This one weighs in at @ 8lbs.

It works as is, but like I mentioned in the description please keep in mind it is an older laptop - not super fast and is running Windows XP - I also mentioned that I would upgrade the memory to help boost the system performance. With that being said, it still works as is. The only needed repair is the #2 key. You can still use the pad to enter the number 2 but for ease of use I would purchase the replacement key. Yes, as pictured in pic #11 there are 3 usb ports on the rear of the unit.

No, sorry it does not. You can pick up an USB to SD adapter for really cheap. The last time I checked there were some listed on Listia too.
