Winner will have to pay shipping on this one. Sorry but I've been out of work to long and can no longer do free shipping unless it's seeds and until I'm back on my feet again. This is for a plant, NOT seeds.
I will be experimenting on auctioning plants here this spring, summer and probably fall time and if this plant shows enough interest, then will be having more unique ones to offer.
This variegated Spanish Thyme is not only beautiful with fleshy leaves and stems but the scent is quite strong and the leaves are used in Caribbean cuisine. Used for stuffing, flavoring meats and also a very good substitute for sage. You can crush the leaves and place in a large mesh tea ball when cooking (mostly in stews and pasta dishes) The strong aromatic leaves are used in different parts of the world medicinally as a cure for coughs and have read that one person claims if you eat an extremely hot pepper that burns, munch on a Cuban leaf, that it is a capsaicin neutralizer. But I have not tried this...not sure I want to but it is always a possibility if that arises.
Mosquitoes do not seem to like this plant either...it has helped me when growing so many plants, it appears to help control them. Also as a great gardener's gift for anytime, if you make soaps, to add leave and stems (blender might work if you do not have a way to distill it) and add to an oatmeal mixture. Nice aroma! I believe a great way to keep insects at bay.

Because of many times that seeds were sent and people did not receive them, I replaced and resent to them, it was just to expensive for me to keep doing that. If you do not want confirmation added...it's out of my hands once it's mailed.
