Here's another Commenter's Auction just for those who LOVE LOVE LOVE needlework!!!

This auction will focus just on needlework items. For every COMMENT there will be another stitching item added to box. It could be a cross stitch magazine, a needlework kit, an iron on transfer (I have a TON), embroidery hoop, a hand made pin keeper, needles, embroidery floss holder..... You comment, I pick!!

Yes. It is free shipping. I am adding almost of yard of white fabric. Not sure of the fiber, but it's a good sturdy fabric which would be great for embroidery of any kind!

I couldn't find any crewel embroidery instruction yet. But I am putting in LOTS of crewel thread/yarn. You can find how-to do just about anything on you-tube! That's where I learned to knit in a circle! I am adding two Christmas lace ornaments.... cross stitch!

Oh, I hate youtube. I will use it very little. Has to be under certain circumstances. What one may have intended to be a good thing as all has become bad. You can see anything you want to see with just a click of a buttun. Things many should never ever see.Young or old. Scares me sometimes what this world has come to. On the other hand there are delightful people like you who makes many smile. I hope you are having as much fun as we are with this auction. This is darn right out fun!!!!!

Agreed. I never go on you-tube unless it's to look up something very specific. But there are some great teaching videos!
I am having great fun with this auction. I will probably be doing another pretty soon for fabric and sewing stuff. Adding another cross stitch magazine for your comment!

I am adding some iron patterns I think would work well for crewel. Folk artsy and flowers. About 13-15 on the three pages depending on how you choose to use them!

I am also interested in quilting and rug hooking. Like those ones you get that have the short yarn and you pull through the preprinted color stencil on a thick plastic grid and tie off. Anything I can do with out pulling out a sewing machine. I love stiching with my hands. A natural tranqualizer! Hey just through it in I will take it. I am saving my points for this auction. Jewlery is really my love and try to bid on large lots, but this is fun, and I love hand work.

I never got into rug hooking, although I think there is a hook around here somewhere! If i can find it, I will add it.
I braid and crochet rugs for my house. I also love beading and will now be including a bag of random little beads to embellish your embroidery projects. Great for flower centers, accents. etc.

Went digging in a box in the craft room and found the coolest two kits! Both are RETRO patterns from the 70s. The transfers are in the packages and the floss is too! Plus it has 6 additional iron patterns. I am enclosing BOTH! I also found a new package of candlewicking thread. And two "knots" of multi colored crewel embroidery yarn.
