Description

The listing, ** Variegated Spider Plants ** has ended.

It's time to repot and separate my plants for the coming growing season, and I have alot of spider plant babies, soooo...

This auction is for three variegated spider plant babies. This variety is the one that has the leaves edged in green, with white in the middle of each leaf. These are the lightest colored spider plants I've ever had. Every once in awhile, the mother plants will produce an almost solid white baby!

The plants in the photos are of my Mother Plants, and the babies I send will be coming from them.

If you have any questions, please ask.

As always, thanks for looking : )

I have a large planter that I want to set into a macrame hanger and fill the planter with all different colors of the spider plants that I can get I think it will look spectacular what do you think? I can't remember if they need small pots to start or can go into a large one if I win all the different starts I am hoping for I should have about 1 dozen or so starts of various colors to mix around since most are like you a couple 3 to a auction

I can only speak from my own experience, but I have never had luck with mixing my solid and variegated spider plants in one pot. I've tried four times, and every time, the solid green thrived, and the variegated just died. I don't know why, but that has always been the case. If anyone has any suggestions for Tazvillari, I would welcome them so we can all learn : )
As for small, versus large pots, I always do both, and have not really noticed much difference as to growth rate or production.
Good luck with whatever you decide to do, and thanks for the great questions : )

at 1 time I had over 500 planters of all sizes in and outside of my tiny 2 bedroom apt and we had to move but due to a mix up we had to be out of 1 and the new 1 wasn't ready and my ex decided he would help with my plants and loaded them in a open uhaul trailer and went thru all the apt complexes knocking on doors asking if people wanted free plants when I got home from work you can imagine how devastated I was one of those pots was a huge ceramic about 3 ft across my pride and joy and it held both spider plants of all varieties and pathos I have never been able to get them to grow together since in the same pot but there was something about that pot or the particular plant that they all just seemed to work together even my best friend who has had plants since for ever said she has never seen the pothos and the spiders growing great in the same pot

Oh, I am so sorry that you lost your plants that way : ( I have lost plants in the past also, and it's terrible! I don't know for sure what plants will get along with others, but I know that I have never had much luck with mixing different plants. I wish you the best of luck with starting your collection again, and I will be happy to help in any way I can : )
