So I checked them out and they are not low rise but they don't go up to your belly button either. They come just above the knee. They have some stretch in them and are very comfortable. They don't have any stains, tears or damage that I can see. Smoke/ pet free home. Hope this helps and thank you for asking for clarification :)

Even numbers are women's typically and odd numbers are juniors. For example a 4 or 6 are women's but a 5 or 7 is juniors.
