I've never cross-stitched or anything like it or sown but I really like this and was wondering if its the kind that tells u how to do it ? Where to put everything

I'm sorry, the material is plain & you follow the chart that they give you & count how many stitches to do that color. That is why they call it a counted cross stitch. The other kind is a stamped imaged on the material. Mine doesn't have that. Just the chart. But everyone starts somewhere.
