Description

The listing, Money Savvy Generation Piggy Bank And Home Workbooks has ended.

This auction is for the money savvy piggy bank and the materials for parents and children to learn to be money savvy. This bank is divided into four columns, allowing children to put a portion of their money into save, spend, give, or invest. We used these materials to guide us but wrote in notebooks, leaving most of the materials mark free. My son did write on the front of the coloring book and colored two pictures inside it, but other than that and a couple stickers that were used on the piggy bank, this set is unused. It does appear that this $40 set is supposed to include a CD ROM, but I don't know where it is. You can check their website at msgen.com for more information, and I am sure you could order a replacement CD-ROM.

I strongly recommend this system for teaching your children to manage money. I wish my own parents had used this method when I was a child, instead of leaving me to struggle to handle finances as an adult. I am very proud to see my teenager saving his money, delaying gratification with purchases, and planning for the future. There are a number of great systems to teach kids money management, and I'm not sure that anyone is better than any other, but this is one we used and I found very valuable. From a smoke free home.

TY. She's at a great age to use this! My son has become such a great saver, in part because of this program. He set a goal to save $1000 last summer and he met it.

I'm sure she thought since everything is "free" it was a great way to get new things without paying anything. It's a good lesson on how things that seem too good to be true usually are--reading the fine print is very important. I'm sure you'll get PayPal figured out--it's not really that hard, just unknown. Best of luck. :)
