hi thanks for your interest. i cant find a direct copyright date, it has fourth edition, and the latest date i see is the text/illustrations has 1988..the latest date copyright shows 1983, i looked it up on the isbn number and then it shows 2 isbn numbers, it shows this book but it has a 1976 published. this would have to be i assume 1988 or later, i dont quite understand what i found on isbn.org, maybe you can make more sense out of it, i am sorry but thats all i know about this book, thank again...deb
