You melt the wax and pour it into the cups once they are cooled then you pop the wax out of the cups

you can melt the candle wax in it but youd need a warmer to do that. put the wax in the tart tin, then turn on the warmer, after the wax is melted add a wick to it and hold the wick up in the middle with a hemostat then after it cools pop the newly made star shaped mini candle out of it and there you have it. {:O)
