Lol! Mine too! Haha!! But you know, now that you mention it, I don't see why an extender couldn't be added. If it doesn't sell, I might just do that , they are removable if you wanted it to go back to the original at any time.

No . Trifari was all costume jewelry , but the designer (most famous) was originally with Cartier (which is why the pieces are so great and they have become very collectible in fact some Trifari goes for higher prices than the real gold !! There are a huge number of avid collectors, because it is a limited supply. The "hangtag" is the identifying "mark" and why people want these , it's very high quality costume jewelry, and it wears very well!! The gold plating(even the earliest pieces, in most cases is still intact! Unless it's been over exposed to salt air(near the beach) or extreme heat and humidity, they really are very impressively made! I've had pieces for decades! And they still look great!
