Description

The listing, Used U.S. Commemorative Stamp #1337 5¢ 150th Anniversary Mississippi Statehood has ended.

The 5-cent stamp marking the 150th anniversary of Mississippi statehood was first placed on sale on December 11, 1967, at Natchez, Mississippi, the first territorial capital.

Andrew Bucci, a native of Vicksburg, Mississippi, designed the stamp, which featured an image of Mississippi's state flower. The brownish magnolia is shown against a light blue-green background.

The images are of the exact stamp you will receive. This particular stamp is very lightly canceled and in very fine condition for those of you who enjoy collecting the ones that are barely marked.
