Both are approx. 3 1/2 inches in length. One has a glass lenses and one has a plastic lenses with plastic handles.

Do you happen to know the magnification of these? Any scratches that will obscure
the view?

it like this you put the lenses to an object mthat you wish to see better more legible and now its more clear. Ok these magnify glass were among my school supplies I did not need any more they were used so a little surface scratches from no deep indented chips.
