The listing, Elite Xbox 360 (black) w/o hard drive has ended.

This is a black Elite Xbox 360 which was repaired by Microsoft company some time ago and during that repair they null voided wireless controller capabilities so it will be accompanied with a Modern Warfare 2 combat wired controller. It also has the tendency to overheat. That is easily fixed by placing it somewhere it is well ventilated.

Can I play the games without the harddrive? Does the game require installation? And no save data correct?

yes you can play without the hard drive but you won't be able to save. Don't think you need to install any games. There is no save data as I used a transfer data cable to move all of my save data and profiles to my new Xbox 360 s.

Ive Had the rrod on 2 360's and its a pain to go thru but..... you can get them repaired and they should work fine for a while. After you repair them they are guarnteed to rrod again tho. Its just a matter of time. And if you pay more than $40 for the repair then your getting bent. The problem with your overheating could be comming from the BRICK.... make sure it is well ventillatled too. That is an easy fix and that rrod could stay away and never come back

No, as I mentioned in the description it doesn't work with wireless controllers and it only had 2 red lights not the red ring of death.

this is a good deal! cause it is an easy fix. i had one with the same problem my bf fixed it 8 months ago and we never had another problem with it.all you need to do it take it apart and get to the chip and clean it off and put some heat sync lube on it cuz after the lube that was put on it when it was made wares off it causes the chip to get to hot and over heat your system... over heating can cause red lights they r just to let u know that there is a problem. the red ring of deth is when all the lights r red and nothing work at all. letting u guys know cuz i def dont have enough to get it

yes, you can play it for 30 minutes. It may play longer because I have it by a TV that gets hot so that may have something to do with it overheating too, duh on my part, lol.
